After many discussions and meetings, the EP Vestal/Preston Neighbors Group are asking that LocalConstruct make necessary changes to their plans in order to make it a better and more safe project for our community. Our focus is not on the architecture, concepts of community and low density -- but only on the impact that 30 - 40 more cars will have on street parking, traffic and safety.

PROPOSED VESTAL/PRESTON DEVELOPMENT: LocalConstruct plans to build a 15-18 unit development replacing 5 lots between Vestal and Preston. "Blackbirds" will house 2 cars per unit + 4 visitor spaces. 30-40 more cars will be added to the traffic on Vestal, Baxter, Preston and Avalon. Although the architecture and concept is a good one, we want to see "Blackbirds" succeed by downsizing to no more than 10 units and 8 structures.
